New Easy is an online marketplace for As Seen On TV and other consumer products that needed to reliably serve millions of visitors and rich media (images and video) for thousands of product pages. The site faced large, unpredictable traffic spikes whenever products aired on television, along with growing security concerns and the risk of overloaded origin servers and poor user experience.
By deploying Cloudflare, New Easy gained a transparent CDN that required no on-page code changes, served content from its own domain, and cached assets across Cloudflare’s 200-city network to absorb traffic spikes. The result was faster page loads, stronger protection for the origin server, significantly lower bandwidth and server demand, and roughly $30,000 in annual infrastructure cost savings.
