KuoBrothers, the parent of ecommerce site Buy123, grew rapidly into a major Taiwan retailer—now serving over 6 million monthly users, 32 million monthly page views and more than 400 million TWD in transactions. That growth brought high traffic peaks and frequent malicious or fake requests, creating a dual challenge of maintaining fast, reliable shopping performance while minimizing costly development work to handle attacks and scale.

Cloudflare delivered caching, Page Rules, WAF, DDoS protection, Rate Limiting and serverless Workers to reduce server load, speed page loads and block abuse. The result: faster site performance, a simplified engineering environment with lower development costs and effort, and about 5.85 million malicious requests blocked per month.
