Case Study: INSEAD blocks 100,000 threats monthly and simplifies access with Cloudflare

INSEAD uses Cloudflare’s security solutions to secure their public and employee-facing websites and apps

INSEAD, a top international graduate business school with campuses in France, Singapore and Abu Dhabi (and a San Francisco location planned), needed to better protect student‑facing websites and external applications from malicious JavaScript exploits and DDoS threats. The school also faced complex, time‑consuming remote access management—relying on VPNs and IP allow‑listing—and wanted a simpler single sign‑on (SSO) experience for developers and staff.

INSEAD partnered with Cloudflare to deploy its Web Application Firewall, Access, and CDN. The WAF now blocks about 100,000 threats per month and gives the school greater visibility into attacks; Access reduced dependence on VPNs and allow‑listing while enabling SSO and more flexible mobile access; and the CDN serves roughly 1.5 TB/month. The solutions were easy to deploy, lowered administrative burden, and were quickly adopted by developers.
