Hostnet selects Cloudflare to bullet-proof its entire infrastructure

Hostnet Brazil, a leading web host serving over 50,000 customers and focused on open-source, affordable hosting tools, needed a more resilient platform to combat growing cyber threats like excessive bot crawling and DDoS attacks while improving performance across Brazil and Latin America.

Hostnet moved from Amazon CloudFront to Cloudflare’s integrated CDN and security with a “default on” deployment and Railgun for dynamic acceleration. The change gave customers access to Cloudflare’s global network (36 data centers, five in Latin America), roughly 2x faster page loads, 51% monthly bandwidth savings, 100% clean traffic, high availability, and automatic enablement for the vast majority of domains.
