EdgeMesh, a client-side web optimization company, needed high-performance edge computing to speed up websites without relying on traditional server-side optimization. By using Cloudflare Workers and related edge services, EdgeMesh aimed to improve performance for global customers while keeping infrastructure costs under control.

Cloudflare helped EdgeMesh move more than 95% of its software stack to the edge with Workers, KV, and Cache API. The result was customer-facing APIs that ran more than 5x faster and a 72% reduction in global cloud computing costs, while also simplifying deployments and scaling.
