Cloudflare supports eTeacher Group towards a Zero Trust security model

eTeacher Group is an Israel-based virtual learning company (founded in 2000) that serves over 35,000 students across 200 countries with a largely remote workforce of about 850 employees. When the company rapidly shifted to remote work, its VPN proved difficult to configure for globally distributed, BYOD call-center staff and didn’t support the Zero Trust security model eTeacher wanted; its existing WAF also lacked actionable analytics.

eTeacher implemented Cloudflare Access, Tunnel, WAF and performance tools to move toward Zero Trust. The changes cut employee onboarding time by 60%, eliminated the VPN, simplified BYOD access, and allowed sensitive apps to be kept off the public internet, while Cloudflare WAF provided new traffic insights (DNS issues, non-existent domain attacks) and easy custom rules—improving security posture and availability.
