iCook, launched by Polydice in 2011, is Taiwan’s largest recipe‑sharing social network with about five million users, 190,000 recipes and roughly 63 million monthly clicks. Because the site is asset‑heavy (photos and videos) and used in real‑time while cooking, iCook needed fast, reliable performance and strong security, but their existing setup delivered the required speed at unsustainable cost.

iCook adopted Cloudflare for front‑end performance and Cloudflare Workers as an API gateway to aggregate endpoint responses and distribute tracking cookies for user insights, improving backend efficiency.
