A Cloudflare Case Study
BridgerPay is a Cyprus-based SaaS that connects ecommerce merchants to 300+ payment providers across 170 countries, serving about 250 merchants and processing over $250M monthly. Shortly after launch they faced complex DDoS attacks that slowed requests, threatened their embedded product on third‑party sites, and disrupted merchant access to their admin portal while relying on fragile authentication secrets and VPNs.
BridgerPay deployed Cloudflare — primarily Cloudflare Access plus Rate Limiting, Argo Smart Routing and Workers — to put an authentication layer in front of the portal without code changes, block DDoS/automated attacks, and improve routing. The solution blocked potential DDoS hits and tightened logins, saved hundreds of development hours, throttled thousands of malicious requests daily, and improved page load times by 68% for users in Singapore, enabling faster performance and more time to focus on growth.
