Blog Press cuts pageview response time by 50% with Cloudflare

Blog Press, a company that helps people start successful blogs, needed to improve the performance and response times of its WordPress-based website. Despite already using multiple layers of caching and a CDN, co-founder Dan Baritchi sought added performance benefits from Cloudflare.

By implementing Cloudflare's CDN, the expensive WordPress pageviews were served directly from Cloudflare's global data centers without hitting the core servers. This solution reduced pageview response time by 50 percent. Over a typical month, Cloudflare served 3 million of the site's 5.5 million requests, cutting server requests in half and providing huge performance benefits for all visitors.
