Active Solutions Limited helps Great Rail Journeys, the UK’s leading seller of rail holidays, expand its vacation platform internationally while maintaining a fast, reliable experience for customers in the US, Canada, and beyond. As they grew, they needed a single-vendor way to reduce latency, route traffic intelligently, and secure the site without adding multiple CDN, DNS, and load balancing tools, so they turned to Cloudflare.

Cloudflare implemented Load Balancing with failover and geolocation-based routing, along with its CDN and WAF, to keep Great Rail Journeys online and deliver users to the nearest healthy origin server. The results included 92% of end-user bandwidth served from a Cloudflare data center, 150.95 GB of bandwidth saved out of 162.77 GB total, improved resilience during origin outages, and globally strong performance with fewer points of failure.
