TIM, a leading Italian telecommunications company with nearly €26B in revenue, needed to bundle email, internet and new connected car services into a scalable offering but faced minimal cost control, limited flexibility and no lean go-to-market strategy. To overcome these constraints, TIM engaged CloudBlue and its CloudBlue Commerce platform to modernize how it packaged and sold bundled and IoT-based services.
CloudBlue implemented an end-to-end platform for subscription and catalog management, enabling TIM to launch a “TIM OPEN” platform business model, automate app onboarding and provide partners with an IaaS foundation. The CloudBlue-powered transformation produced measurable results: TIM launched 40 products in 30 months, streamlined onboarding through automation and standards, and delivered complete connected car and IoT service management.
