Medallia, a leading SaaS customer experience management provider used by more than 1,000 major brands, faced mounting competitive pressure to innovate faster as its engineering organization scaled to hundreds of developers. Tool fragmentation, plugin and access issues, slow builds and unreliable CI systems were creating bottlenecks that threatened agility and the company’s ability to deliver frequent, enterprise-grade updates.

To address this, Medallia launched Project 24 and consolidated its build and delivery pipeline on CloudBees Core, adopting CI/CD at scale, pipeline-as-code, standardized plugins and dedicated support and training. The changes cut build times by almost 90% (from 2–3 hours to about 20 minutes), produced a developer NPS of 63, enabled 20,000 automated jobs weekly across 1,000 projects, sped support responses to minutes or hours, and put the company on track to deploy code to customers within 24 hours.
