A ClickUp Case Study
The Yarnpreneur Society, founded by Jess, teaches yarn entrepreneurs worldwide through its Society + Academy and runs a small, mighty team managing content, customer service, marketing and operations. Before adopting ClickUp, the team relied on about 20 Trello boards, a bullet journal and post‑its, which led to tasks slipping through the cracks and a lot of time wasted just managing productivity tools. They turned to the ClickUp platform to bring structure to their work.
ClickUp set up a workspace with dedicated Spaces for Operations, Marketing, Customer Retention and Course Content Creation, using Due Dates, Priorities, Tags, Projects and Lists plus Custom Statuses (e.g., IDEA → WRITING → FORMATTING → CLOSED) to enforce content workflows. As a result, team members clearly know what to do and when, projects move forward more easily, distractions are reduced, and the Society regained the time previously lost to tool wrangling — all achieved using ClickUp.
