Miami University Career Center reaches more students using ClickUp for event planning

Miami University's Center for Career Exploration and Success, a 25-person team responsible for more than 200 virtual and in‑person events each year, faced fragmented workflows and inconsistent knowledge sharing after shifting to remote work. Coordinating event planning across email, Google Docs/Sheets and Formstacks made it hard to maintain process consistency and transfer institutional knowledge, so Miami University adopted the ClickUp platform to centralize event management.

Using ClickUp (Docs, Tasks, Templates and Views), the center created a single repository for event histories, standardized templates to ensure consistent execution, and transparent views for leadership and cross‑team collaboration. ClickUp helped the team streamline operations—enabling 200+ programs and events per year to be managed seamlessly, increasing campus reach to serve more students, and supporting Miami University’s continued outcomes (98% overall student success rate within six months of graduation) while improving efficiency and visibility across the office.
