A CleverTap Case Study
Central Square Foundation (CSF), a nonprofit focused on improving school education in India, launched Top Parent to address a major challenge: early childhood development (0–8 years) is widely neglected and many parents—especially in low-resource communities—feel ill-equipped to support learning at home. CSF needed a technology solution that could reach low-end smartphones, engage parents, and help children build readiness for school while bridging gaps in parent knowledge and involvement.
Top Parent is a lightweight PWA/Android app that combines parent-facing guidance, child-facing learning apps, and a dashboard to track progress. By integrating CleverTap analytics, the team mapped user journeys, segmented behavior, and iterated features (for example expanding quiz categories after discovering high drop-offs), enabling more personalized engagement campaigns. Launched during COVID-19 with government endorsements, the app has improved insights into user behavior, strengthened parent involvement, and increased the team’s ability to retain and support families as they scale.
