BukuKas is an Indonesian SME digitization startup (founded in 2018) whose BukuKas app replaces physical ledgers to help merchants track sales, expenses, inventory and analytics—serving nearly 2 million MAUs by early 2020. BukuKas implemented CleverTap’s single-platform engagement toolkit—using funnels, cohort analysis, RFM segmentation, A/B testing, product experiences and feature flags—to monitor granular retention, automate trigger-based journeys, reveal features progressively and reactivate churned users. These efforts improved onboarding and short-term retention, cutting friction and boosting new user activation by 60% over six months while lowering integration and maintenance overhead.
