Ayopop, a leading Indonesian bill payment aggregator, needed to build brand trust, improve user onboarding and engagement, and better understand user behavior as the country shifted from cash to mobile and digital payments. To support these goals, Ayopop began using CleverTap in early 2018 for analytics and marketing operations, alongside its mobile app and payment platform.
CleverTap helped Ayopop track in-app events, segment users, and analyze funnels and cohorts to identify drop-offs and optimize campaigns. Together, CleverTap and Ayopop implemented personalized bill reminders and other engagement messages, which led to a 26% increase in active users and a 15% reduction in churn within three months.
