DSP Mutual Fund, part of the legacy DSP Group and serving over 50 lakh investors, needed a way to educate and engage customers with highly relevant communications—tailored by life stage, risk profile and financial goals—without the long lead times traditionally required to run dozens of segmented campaigns. The challenge was to deliver hyper-personalized, meaningful messages at scale using granular customer data rather than generic fund-selling communications.
Working with CleverTap, the team created 100+ segments using holdings, behavioral signals (purchases, redemptions, SIPs), demographics and investment metrics, then used CleverTap’s Catalog Send‑Time Personalization to deliver dynamic, single-campaign emails that ensured each investor received the most relevant message even if they belonged to multiple segments. The program was built in days, cut campaign turnaround from weeks to days, drove a 28% month‑on‑month increase in average daily purchases within a month, and produced the highest single-day fund purchases in three months.
