Southwest Michigan Dermatology, part of Paragon Health in Portage, Michigan, was facing long check‑in times (8–10 minutes), overflowing patient lines, frequent late arrivals that delayed physicians, high front‑desk turnover, and problems with insurance eligibility and data accuracy. To address these challenges they partnered with Clearwave and implemented the Clearwave Connect solution, using kiosks and tablets to streamline check‑in across their main and remote clinics.

Clearwave deployed six kiosks and three tablets, and the Clearwave Connect system reduced average check‑in time to 1 minute 10 seconds, cut front‑desk staffing by 50% (from 8 to 4), improved insurance eligibility accuracy, lowered turnover, and allowed the practice to reallocate staff to improve the patient experience.
