Complete Women’s Care of Alabama, a two-location OB/GYN practice seeing over 350 patients daily, needed to reduce long check-in times, improve data capture, and modernize the patient experience. They partnered with Clearwave and implemented Clearwave Registration (pre-registration with clinical intake and in-practice kiosks) to replace paper forms and manual data entry.

Clearwave’s self-registration and eligibility verification workflows were integrated with the practice management system, enabling patients to pre-register or use kiosks to verify demographics and pay at check-in. As a result, Complete Women’s Care of Alabama achieved a 90% reduction in check-in times (average 2 minutes 4 seconds), 95% ongoing patient utilization of self-registration (56% pre-registration), about 61% of copays collected monthly, roughly 1,526 monthly demographic updates via self-registration, and minimal staff intervention, freeing staff for other tasks.
