Virgin Money, a banking and finance company, was struggling with a frustrating performance management system that put process ahead of purpose, creating resentment, poor employee experiences, and heavy admin for managers. After several failed improvement efforts, the company needed to change mindsets, strengthen manager capability, and introduce a simpler, more positive approach to performance. It turned to Clear Review’s performance management platform, Performance & Talent.

Clear Review implemented Performance & Talent to support Virgin Money’s new model of team goals, two personal goals per employee, and frequent, concise feedback conversations. The results were strong: in one year, Virgin Money recorded 52,227 check-ins, more than a quarter of a million pieces of feedback, 65,000 feedback items on “heartfelt” service, and 101,303 objectives created, helping build a more aligned and strategic performance culture.
