How Kesem Saved Over 100 Hours With Campaign Templating

Kesem, a national nonprofit that supports children coping with a parent's cancer diagnosis, partners with 140 college chapters that each run multiple annual fundraisers on Classy. Strained time and resources plus inconsistent branding made it difficult for Kesem’s national team to create and maintain hundreds of individual campaign pages, with edits previously requiring manual updates across every chapter.

By using Classy’s campaign templating, Kesem standardized their 2021 fundraising efforts into just three templates, enabling template-level edits that cascade to all child campaigns. The change saved the team more than 100 hours, reduced what once took nearly 300 people to work down to just 16, and improved brand consistency and donor experience—says Meag Donnelly, Kesem Systems & Constituent Care Coordinator—while paving the way for future peer-to-peer templates.
