The Township of Morris, NJ needed a better way to give residents convenient access to online information, services, and self-service tools, as its outdated in-house website made it hard for citizens to find things like marriage licenses, pet licenses, and other township resources. To solve this, the township chose CivicPlus and its Municipal Websites CMS to replace the old site with a more modern, easier-to-manage government website.

CivicPlus implemented the new CMS with a focus on intuitive navigation, improved content organization, and a refreshed design, supported by project management help to keep the rollout on schedule. As a result, the Township of Morris can update content more efficiently, departments can manage some of their own pages, and residents have easier access to news, parks and recreation information, and property tax notifications. The township also reported fewer phone inquiries after moving key information online.
