Saxman, Alaska, Chooses CivicPlus® for a Modern Municipal Website

The City of Saxman, Alaska, needed a way to share news and information with residents without forcing them to call or visit City Hall, which was a challenge for its very small staff. To address this, the City turned to CivicPlus and its Municipal Website solution to create Saxman’s first modern municipal website.

CivicPlus launched the site in just two months with a custom look and an easy-to-manage Drupal-based CMS. The new website makes information easy to find in three clicks or less, adds a newsletter and calendar for community updates, and helps staff keep content current. Saxman later expanded to CivicPlus Agenda and Meetings Management, reducing workload and improving digital access to city information.
