Sandy City, UT Communications Team Wins Best of State Award

Sandy City, UT’s Communications Team needed a better way to support residents and strengthen digital community engagement, while providing easy access to city services and emergency updates. The city used CivicPlus Municipal Websites along with Process Automation and Digital Services, Mass Notification System, 311 CRM, and Codification to create a more connected citizen experience.

CivicPlus implemented an integrated digital platform for Sandy City, including its website, My Alert mass notifications, and a “Connect With Us” hub. The results included the city winning a Best of State Award for Web-Based Community Resources and growing community engagement to nearly 36,000 alert sign-ups in four years, showing measurable improvement in resident reach and participation.
