Pacific Grove, CA’s Parks & Recreation Department faced major disruption during the COVID-19 pandemic, including furloughs, canceled programs, and lost revenue. To keep serving residents and stay relevant, the city turned to CivicPlus Recreation Management to support online registrations, facility reservations, and payments.

CivicPlus implemented an integrated recreation management solution that let Pacific Grove manage wedding venue bookings, invoices, online payments, and deposits all in one system. The results included 27 weddings hosted since July and 11 in October alone, helping the department generate revenue, maintain community services, and continue operating through the pandemic.
