Mono County, California faced the challenge of having a municipal website that was not as engaging as the site run by its County Tourism board. To address this, the county partnered with vendor CivicPlus to implement a modern municipal website solution.

CivicPlus designed a mobile-friendly website for the county based on a three-clicks-or-less philosophy to ensure information was clearly organized. As a result of this solution from CivicPlus, the new website was a success and won two awards: the Digital Survey of Counties and the National Association of Web Professionals Pinnacle Members Choice Award.
