A CivicPlus Case Study
The City of Topeka needed a better way to use technology to identify, repair, and report on potholes across the city, while making the most of limited staff and funding. It turned to CivicPlus and its SeeClickFix 311 CRM, along with CityWorks and ArcGIS integrations, to help residents report issues and give public works teams better data for planning and response.
CivicPlus implemented an integrated workflow that routed resident requests into Cityworks and visualized them in ArcGIS, helping the city track labor, materials, repair history, and hotspots more efficiently. The result was improved resident engagement and stronger data aggregation, and Topeka’s road crews increased their year-over-year pothole filling capability.
