Fulton, OH Uses CivicMobile to Improve Local Government Communications

Fulton County Government faced a growing communications challenge: analytics from CivicPlus showed that roughly 40% of its website traffic came from mobile devices, yet county staff and residents lacked a streamlined mobile channel for news, emergency alerts, job listings, elections, tourism and internal reference. To address this, Fulton County partnered with CivicPlus and its CivicEngage CMS and deployed the CivicMobile app to better reach citizens and support field staff.

CivicPlus synchronized the CivicEngage CMS with the CivicMobile app so updates and Alert Center notifications publish in real time, added push Notify Me alerts, mobile job listings, election updates, senior center info and lost-pet pages, and made content accessible for emergency responders. The result: faster access to agendas and critical information, improved civic engagement and tourism promotion, and more than 500 app downloads in the first year — demonstrating measurable mobile adoption and enhanced county communications driven by CivicPlus.
