The Town of Frederick, CO (pop. 12,534) faced an outdated, developer‑oriented website that made routine updates slow, buried content, and hindered community engagement across a rapidly growing population. To modernize its online presence and improve citizen communication, the Town of Frederick selected CivicPlus and its CivicEngage platform.

CivicPlus implemented CivicEngage with an intuitive CMS, FrontPage features, an online issue‑tracking tool and a Development Center, enabling staff to update content from anywhere and publish a weekly electronic newsletter. As a result, residents now report issues online, developers use the site as a one‑stop resource, engagement and accessibility have increased, and the Town of Frederick is able to communicate more effectively and “do more with less.”
