Bullard Informs Citizens with CivicReady Mass Notification System

The City of Bullard, Texas, needed a better way to reach its growing population of younger families and digital-first residents with urgent updates and community information. Its older notification approach had limited flexibility, so the City turned to CivicPlus and its Mass Notification Software to improve digital communication and expand its reach.

CivicPlus implemented the Mass Notification system with geo-targeted alerts, messaging templates, and IPAWS integration, giving Bullard a more flexible, easy-to-use way to send routine and emergency communications by text, phone, and voicemail. The City can now quickly send targeted alerts, store past emergency messages, and let residents subscribe through its CivicPlus website; it has already used the system to reach about 250 residents for an event rescheduling notice and is growing its subscriber base.
