VMCH (formerly Villa Maria Catholic Homes), a Victorian not‑for‑profit delivering aged care, disability and community services, needed to move hundreds of paper‑based support workers onto a digital time and attendance system. Working with Civica to implement the CarelinkGo mobile app, VMCH’s challenges included staff resistance to change, choosing a device strategy and embedding the solution into existing processes.
Civica supported a phased roll‑out of CarelinkGo (went live Sept 2019) using corporate‑supplied devices with MDM, personalised small‑group training, train‑the‑trainer materials and active stakeholder engagement. The approach delivered measurable results: over 300 users across aged care and disability services, approximately three months per service to implement, two‑hour typical training sessions, and a 100% transition of project support workers with strong positive feedback and efficiency gains.
