MiHomecare faced inconsistent visit compliance under traditional fixed-line check-in methods, with some branches reporting only around 60% compliance. To modernize care monitoring and improve safety and accuracy, MiHomecare turned to Civica’s Coldharbour Mobile Point of Care mobile solution to replace PIN-based landline checks with GPS-enabled, real-time mobile recording.

Civica deployed the Coldharbour Mobile Point of Care across MiHomecare’s workforce—over 6,000 carers and 24,000 daily users—integrating with the Coldharbour Community Care roster to capture time, visits and mileage via GPS. The Civica solution delivered real-time call data and e-Care functionality, lifting visit compliance from about 60% to 95% within four weeks (a 35 percentage-point improvement), improving safety, productivity and ROI.
