Maury Regional Health creates the patient “golden record” using Civica’s next-generation EMPI solution

Maury Regional Health, a three-hospital system serving over 260,000 people in southern Tennessee, faced proliferating duplicate patient records across multiple EHRs and a patient portal and needed a single “golden view” of each patient. To resolve disparate names, identifiers and medical record numbers and support future data-driven initiatives, Maury selected Civica’s next‑generation EMPI solution, MultiVue.

Civica implemented MultiVue to match and merge patient data—using HL7 messaging, ADT flows via CorePoint, data backloads, validation and on-site training—to integrate multiple EHR and IT systems and automate record consolidation. As a result, MultiVue merged nearly 193,000 database records (about 68,000 merged with the patient portal), enabled meaningful use for both acute and ambulatory care, increased patient satisfaction, and delivered scalable, proactive matching and improved data integrity for Maury’s growing environment.
