Housing Plus Group makes a successful transition to transformational HR

Housing Plus Group, which provides 12,000 homes and serves 25,000 customers across six companies after a merger that brought together over 600 employees, needed to replace an antiquated HR system to manage HR for its geographically dispersed workforce. The Group selected Civica and its Civica HR & Payroll solution to deliver a single, centralised HR platform with an intuitive self‑service portal.

Civica implemented a phased rollout of Civica HR & Payroll—starting with leave and absence then adding expenses, appraisals, training and a mobile app—bringing more than 600 users online (240 initial users) and around 120 mobile users. The solution cut administrative effort, improved reporting through built‑in and bespoke reports, freed the HR team to focus on strategic planning, and helped Housing Plus Group move from transactional to transformational HR.
