Mears needed to replace multiple disparate rostering systems after its acquisition of Care UK Homecare to standardise processes and cut administration time. After a three-month evaluation, Mears selected Civica’s Coldharbour Community Care solution and launched “Project Synergy” to roll out a single integrated system across its operations.

Civica implemented Coldharbour Community Care (including CellTrak mobile call monitoring) across 78 branches, consolidating four systems into one for rostering, billing and invoicing and automating workflows. The Civica solution delivered measurable results: payroll runs fell from over 100 to just 2, faster billing and reduced paper timesheets, improved visibility from a single data source, increased care staff flexibility, and overall operational and cost efficiencies.
