Hamilton City Council expanding Authority across the business to reach its goals

Hamilton City Council, which serves around 170,000 residents and manages over NZ$300 million in annual revenue, was hampered by two disparate financial systems and a separate accounting vendor. Seeking a single source of truth for transactional and financial data, the council evaluated options and chose Civica’s Authority suite—expanding from Rates and Regulatory modules to adopt Authority’s accounting module to drive broader digital and operational improvements.
