Efficient housing asset management at Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd

Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd (CCG), North Wales’s largest housing association managing more than 6,300 homes, needed to capture and manage detailed stock condition data, maintenance schedules and compliance information after a comprehensive survey showed their existing housing system couldn’t store all the data. To meet Welsh Housing Quality Standard obligations and plan a £136m five‑year improvement programme, CCG selected Civica’s Keystone Asset Management solution.

Civica implemented Keystone (including the mobile Keystone Foundation and modules for planned maintenance, servicing and energy) as a single source of truth, giving 250+ staff live access to up‑to‑date records and enabling offline mobile working that speeds each survey by about 45 minutes—supporting a target of 1,200 surveys a year. The result is simplified WHQS reporting (currently 97% compliance), streamlined fire, gas and boiler servicing, higher tenant satisfaction and improved energy ratings that help increase rental income and reduce tenant fuel bills.
