The Home Office needed a secure Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform to run CMIS, a PSN-accessed application that enables police forces to collaborate and share information. Civica was engaged to deliver a UK-hosted SaaS solution and prove secure authentication from the Home Office network, a challenge that had previously blocked deployment.
Civica delivered an IL3/Official multi-zone Microsoft Dynamics CRM SaaS platform, starting with a three-week pilot that demonstrated successful Home Office authentication, and implemented a centralised service desk to manage incidents from the Home Office and police forces nationwide. Civica produced RMADS, a protective monitoring policy and passed two phases of IT health checks leading to Home Office accreditation, enabling G-Cloud reuse, faster onboarding for other government buyers and a consumption-based commercial model that delivers flexibility and value for money.
