Cormar Carpets, a British family-run manufacturer and supplier to around 3,000 outlets, needed a future-proof replacement for a bespoke Windows ePOD system that had become difficult to support on aging devices. To preserve their high customer service standards and gain live visibility into delivery exceptions, Cormar Carpets selected Civica’s TranSend ePOD cloud software to replicate bespoke workflows and add visual, real-time dashboards and control.
Civica deployed TranSend on Zebra TC55 rugged Android devices, integrating it with Cormar’s WMS, route planning and CoPilot navigation so drivers receive scanned load data, step‑by‑step instructions and forced acknowledgements for each delivery; exceptions trigger immediate alerts and authorisations. The Civica solution consolidated multiple systems, improved returns accuracy by 25%, increased On Time Delivery (OTD) to 99.7%, enabled more accurate invoicing and gave Cormar Carpets live delivery visibility and tighter operational control.
