Civica's TranSend ePOD moves TPN’s 100+ members to the frontier of IT in the pallet network sector

The Pallet Network (TPN), a membership of 100+ independent hauliers handling over 60,000 pallets a week through central hubs, needed a scalable ePOD solution to track high volumes of trans-shipped pallets, cut paperwork and improve member billing and delivery compliance. Civica’s TranSend ePOD was chosen to integrate with TPN’s member IT system, TPN Connect, and provide a low-cost, mobile-first option deployable on members’ own devices.

Civica implemented TranSend ePOD across the network, delivering mobile signatures (with location, timestamp and photos), barcode scanning, live delivery visibility and centralised data for accurate billing and compliance monitoring. The rollout was completed in about 10 weeks (full network in ~3 months), now covering 104 members (110 depots), cutting paperwork (previously 100–350 A4 sheets per depot per day), reducing customer claims and admin overhead, speeding billing and improving operational efficiency and customer service.
