Civica successfully completes remote deployment of Coroners software at Kent County Council

Kent County Council’s coroners service — the largest in the UK, handling 6,000–8,000 cases a year across four jurisdictions — needed to digitize and go paperless while enabling staff to work from any location. To meet this challenge they partnered with Civica and adopted the Civica Coroners case management cloud solution (built on Civica’s iCasework platform) to provide a remotely deployable, cloud-first replacement for their on-premise system.

Civica remotely deployed the full system, including virtual project meetings and training, going live within four weeks and delivering a single cloud portal accessible from any device. The solution enables third-party digital referrals and automatic case creation, letting staff progress cases from home, speeding case progression and resolutions, removing many administrative tasks and reducing support calls and emails.
