Civica has transformed compliance at Co-op Academies Trust’s 32 sites

Co-op Academies Trust, which operates 32 academies, struggled with fragmented, manual compliance and operations management—relying on paper records and spreadsheets that consumed significant time for site teams and central staff. Since July 2019 the Trust has worked with Civica, deploying Civica Education Operations (formerly Parago) to centralise compliance, asset management, help desk ticketing and policies.

Civica implemented a centralised platform that provides live, remote visibility of each academy’s compliance and KPIs, reducing the need for calls, emails and site visits. The Premises Management module alone has saved an average of three hours per week per academy across the Trust’s 32 sites, streamlined compliance tasks, and become embedded in the Trust’s IT landscape, with Civica continuing to deliver enhancements.
