Civica Election Services helps MCC introduce online voting for members

Marylebone Cricket Club needed to introduce online voting for members without disenfranchising those accustomed to postal ballots, so they turned to Civica Election Services (part of Civica) to advise and deliver the change, selecting the CESvotes platform for the project.

Civica built a CESvotes-based portal hosting candidate videos and a chairman address, sent postal ballots with online voting instructions and emailed unique security codes for single-click login; as a result over 40% of voting members chose the online option, overall turnout increased significantly, and member feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
