A Civica Case Study
The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) sought to modernise its continuing professional development (CPD) service so members could easily record, track and submit learning across different membership levels. CIM partnered with Civica, which implemented the Agylia Learning Management System alongside a tailored CPD management solution to meet CIM’s specific membership requirements.
Civica delivered the CIM CPD platform (desktop and iOS/Android apps) enabling members to log activities, upload evidence, write reflections, generate digital CPD certificates and submit records for audit, with CRM and Single Sign‑On integration into MyCIM. Since launch, sign‑ups have doubled in one year, members now record learning throughout the year rather than at deadline, support and visibility have improved, and the solution has contributed to better member retention and progress toward Chartered Marketer status.
