Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult increases skills and career opportunities with Civica Learning

The Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult is an independent innovation and technology organisation working to grow the UK advanced medicines industry and, through its Advanced Therapies Skills Training Network (ATSTN), to meet rapidly rising workforce demand (predicted to more than double between 2021 and 2026). To scale training and career pathways, The Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult partnered with Civica and adopted Civica Learning (Civica’s LMS) and Civica Learning Services to deliver targeted skills development across the sector.

Civica implemented the Civica Learning LMS, built five bespoke Good Manufacturing Practice eLearning modules, and supported blended programmes (digital, in‑person, virtual and AR/VR) with structured learning pathways and admin tools to upload/target content, manage learners and report activity. As a result, Civica delivered an operational LMS plus five courses to the ATSTN, enabling personalised learning at scale, improving visibility of learner activity for employers and supporting career progression and industry growth, as highlighted by CGT Catapult leadership.
