Catholic Education Northern Territory helps bridge the gap for remote schools with Civica Education Suite

Catholic Education Northern Territory (CENT) supports some of Australia’s most remote schools and needed to replace a 20‑year‑old Civica Maze system with a modern, web‑based administration platform. They chose Civica’s Civica Education Suite (CES) to close the digital divide, provide a person‑centric single database and deliver online tools accessible from multiple devices.

Civica deployed CES to five remote CENT schools in just 35 days (completed 11 July), cleaning and migrating data to a central database, adding tailored development, and delivering training and network support. As a result, teachers now record attendance and student welfare online, student records can be shared between schools, and security, reporting and data integration have been simplified; the remaining 12 CENT schools are scheduled to implement CES by the end of 2017.
