Case Study: Jacobs Enforcement Agents achieves streamlined collections management and a single view of debt for 185 local authorities with CivicaCollect (Civica)

A Civica Case Study

Preview of the Jacobs Enforcement Agents Case Study

Britain's largest independently owned civil enforcement agency relies on CivicaCollect to underpin its operations

Jacobs Enforcement Agents, Britain’s largest independently owned civil enforcement agency, works with more than 185 local authorities and needed a more reliable, updatable collections platform to handle client-specific workflows (including treatment of vulnerable customers), consolidate multiple debts per debtor, and support high-volume automation and accurate client payments. Their legacy bespoke software was becoming difficult to maintain and scale to meet evolving reporting and integration needs.

Civica implemented CivicaCollect, including the Breathing Space module, CollectVisit and extensible APIs that let Jacobs build custom front-end and iPad apps and add client-specific data capture and reporting. CivicaCollect provides a single view of debt, seamless integrations with financial systems and stable fiscal processing; as a result Civica underpins Jacobs Enforcement Agents’ handling of around 370,000 local authority cases a year, improving debtor visibility, agent productivity and reliable client payments.
