The Foreign & Commonwealth Office needed a modern, flexible way to deliver training and reference materials to more than 20,000 diplomatic staff working in embassies and consulates worldwide who frequently travel. They engaged Civica’s Agylia Learning Management System and mobile learning apps to provide centrally managed eLearning, videos and documents while meeting strict security requirements.

Civica implemented the Agylia LMS with a global content distribution network, iOS/Android apps that allow offline download and automatic sync, and added security measures; supporting Experience API tracking means even independent learning and mentoring activities feed into users’ learning records. The solution enabled large concurrent access across PCs and mobile devices, improved tracking and reporting, and was well received by staff, delivering measurable reach and better-managed digital learning for the FCDO.
