Team DSM, a leading professional cycling team, faced a big challenge when the pandemic made their high-energy annual launch event—and the personal media and fan interactions it relies on—impossible to stage in person. Recreating that atmosphere and keeping riders, staff, media, and supporters connected across geographies and languages was essential.

Team DSM partnered with Webex to run the launch on Webex Webinars, using virtual personal rooms, translation features, and integrated devices to enable interviews and global media access. The virtual format expanded reach from roughly 150 on-site guests to nearly 2,000 subscriptions, sustained season-long team communication, and delivered smoother, multilingual media engagement that the team called the most effective communications tool they’ve used.
